We achieve annular isolation by mechanically densifying existing cement in the annulus using the Welltec® Saturn Expander — a radial expansion tool that locally deforms the casing and densifies the cement behind it. This process reinforces the annular barrier, closing micro-annuli and eliminating backside gas flow to restore long-term isolation without altering bulk chemistry.
