Synopsis

Welltec® successfully completed the debut deployment of its TORDEN™ High-Expansion Retrievable Bridge Plug on Alaska’s North Slope. Deployed via slickline to 9,190 ft, the plug was set using the Welltec® Electrical Setting Tool (WEST), passed multiple pressure tests, and was successfully retrieved.  The operation demonstrated the technology’s reliability and led to an additional well opportunity, supporting the client's regulatory compliance requirements for pre-sidetrack pressure testing.
