The position 

The Welder is an individual contributor within the Manufacturing function, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. The role focuses on preparing components and production assemblies by applying high-quality welding techniques and ensuring products meet technical and quality standards.

This role requires attention to detail, technical capability, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship. 


Key responsibilities 

The work of the Welder focuses on preparing components and productions by:

  • Using tig welding to assemble metal components into parts for products
  • Performing seal assembly
  • Operating welding cell 


The candidate

Education

  • Level of Degree: Vocational Degree or Higher Secondary
  • Preferred Type of degree: Smith, Boilermaker or similar
  • Language: English

Training Requirements

  • Mandatory training: Hot Environments Certification or similar, Welding Certification – WPQ ASME IX 

Required Skills

  • Welding
  • Basic Technical Drawings Knowledge
  • Experience with automated welding would be a plus
