The department

Welltec North America Caribbean (NAM) region is actively recruiting for a Planning & Sourcing Analyst based in Katy, Texas (Houston area)—the regional HQ. The NAM region spans the United States, Canada, Trinidad & Tobago, and Guyana. We seek strong candidates with service experience in the oil and gas industry.

The position

The Planning & Sourcing Analyst is responsible for the following key areas:

Warehouse:

Maintaining and managing warehouse inventory
Overseeing warehouse operations such as storage optimization, efficient transportation of components, equipment, and materials, and ensuring accurate shipments
Planning future warehouse capacity requirements and warehouse design
Organizing distribution and delivery of materials, equipment, and components to production lines and customers
Managing the storage of materials, equipment, and goods within the warehouse

Planning:

Scheduling day-to-day production, rough planning, and finalizing production schedules
Ensuring on-time delivery of sales orders through timely availability of production components and purchased parts
Monitoring stock levels and ensuring availability of required products
Ensuring production processes meet schedules, volume demands, and quality standards
Estimating and scheduling human resources, tools, equipment, and materials for production
Researching and evaluating processes to optimize efficiency in systems, technology, equipment, workforce, and materials
Creating and maintaining sales orders in AX with relevant data such as Pre-Production Meetings (PPM) and delivery dates
Coordinating production planning with the production team

Sourcing:

Purchasing and sourcing materials for production
Forecasting material needs
Ensuring the availability of raw materials
Providing material cost quotes to the sales team

The candidate

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

Level of degree: Vocational Degree or University Degree
Preferred Fields: Supply Chain Management, Engineering,
Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
Language Requirement: English
Training Requirements: Truck License and/or Crane License
Working in a warehouse environment (Preferred)
Experience in negotiating and purchasing (Preferred)
Background in production and logistics.
Strong planning skills.
Proficiency in AX/ERP systems(Preferred)
Experience with material and shipment preparation
Strong negotiation skill.
