The department

Welltec is recruiting for a Service Delivery Manager for its operations in the US. We are looking for strong candidates with service experience in the oil and gas industry.

The position 

As a Service Delivery Manager in Welltec, your tasks will include:

  • Responsible for investigating all Incident Reports, both HSE and Quality
  • Responsible for implementing procedures to improve service quality in both the field and workshop environments and to ensure Standards of Performance are being followed
  • Communicate on a regular basis and as needed with the Operations Manager to inform the progress of ongoing field operations
  • Responsible for distribution of “Lessons Learned” and “Quality Alert” emails
  • Develop and implement ‘Best Practice’ procedures where lacking or needing improvement
  • Responsible for developing documentation related to streamlining the entire field process and striving for continual improvement to the processes
  • Oversee and coordinate all planning and execution of jobs for their area of responsibility, in coordination with local management
  • Equipment ordering using the ordering system, in coordination with local management
  • Planning and documentation for non-standard operations
  • Responsible for field audits, both HSE and Quality
  • Client contact inclusive of meeting, presentations, lunch and learns and problem solving
  • Monthly reports, special projects and tool performance reports as required by management
  • Liaise between Operations and Sales
  • Keep competence overview updated for area of responsibility
  • Compile weekly activity reports for Operations Manager
  • Attend and make informed contributions at meetings with Operation Manager and Management
  • Maintain and update field audit records
  • Audits of redress documentation and Master Asset Tracking
  • Interacting with customers in a professional manner at all times
  • Following on-site procedures as outlined by customer/consultant
  • Exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The candidate

The preferred candidate has the following profile:

  • Degree in petroleum engineering or other engineering disciplines 
  • A minimum 5-year industry experience with progressive experience managing field operations and personnel 
  • Relevant experience in Oil and Gas
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem solve, work with hand tools, interpret blueprint diagrams
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Fluent in English language – both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio software
  • Valid Class Driver’s license and clean record (required)
