The department

Due to continued business growth and increasing operational demand, we are looking to expand the WCS team. This additional role will provide the necessary regional support to maintain service levels, support ongoing business growth, and ensure continued operational and sales success across the region.

 

The position 

The position offers challenges in a busy environment and is based onshore, with regional travel as required.

  • Act as the primary client-facing point of contact, ensuring strong and trusted relationships are maintained
  • Understand client business needs, operational challenges, and goal
  • Regularly meet with clients to review project progress, gather feedback, and identify new opportunities
  • Act as the liaison between clients and internal technical teams to ensure full alignment
  • Identify where Welltec® products can enhance client applications and operational performance
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities where Welltec® products can add value across client operations
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to develop tailored technical solutions
  • Prepare technical proposals, solution documentation, and presentations
  • Support sales teams in pre-sales activities, including RFP/RFQ responses and product demonstrations
  • Work with internal stakeholders and operator representatives to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions
  • Monitor project progress to ensure delivery meets client expectations and supports successful deployment
  • Resolve technical or communication issues during delivery phases
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term client objectives
  • Maintain strong knowledge of company offerings and oil & gas industry trends
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear commercial and business value
  • Provide technical input into strategic planning and product development initiatives
  • Communicate client requirements and market feedback to internal product development and leadership teams
  • Participate in internal meetings to support alignment of solution strategies and roadmaps
  • Support training and enablement of sales and customer success teams on technical offerings
  • Ensure client satisfaction post-delivery through regular reviews and ongoing engagement
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on evolving client needs
  • Support development of service plans and service level agreements (SLAs) as required
  • Set and support day-to-day operational priorities


The candidate

Candidate should possess an understanding of well completions design and operational knowledge across different types of completions used globally.

  • Possess an understanding of OH completions
  • Liner hanger knowledge would be beneficial
  • Strong background in operational planning, deployment, and client interactions
  • Candidate should have a basic understanding of production strategy and reservoir characteristics of operators, and be able to initiate solution proposals with the operator
  • Basic sales experience in managing one-to-one client relationships

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum BSc qualification required; MSc preferred
  • Completed professional education is considered advantageous and equivalent to MSc level
  • Engineering and/or oil & gas industry background preferred
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
