At Welltec, you will join our mechanical department situated in our completions Design & Engineering (D&E) function which currently consists of over 20 colleagues worldwide with various educational backgrounds and nationalities. In D&E we closely together - in order to get a holistic approach to our products and tools and to benefit from each other’s knowledge and expertise. In D&E, the work environment is informal, creative and fun but at times it can be complex, challenging, and fast-paced.
The team that you will join is responsible for the development and maintenance of Welltec’s proprietary metal expandable packer technology and other innovative technologies which we constantly introduce to the market through our global footprint.
As a mechanical engineer within Design and Engineering (D&E) you will have the possibility to be innovative and create technology solutions from the idea phase to the commercial implementation. The main task is to develop new technologies where your focus will be development of mechanical systems. You will, together with the team, be part of conceptualization of products and detailed design development both for prototypes and commercial design. You will work in an environment where you will be able to develop your skills and where innovation is a key focus and you will be part of an agile business where your input will be heard. Travelling for exhibition and conferences related to the energy market can be expected to a smaller extent.
