As we continue to standardize and streamline our Global HR processes, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Global Reward Manager to join our team and lead the strategic management of our Reward programs across the globe.

 

The department

You will join the Organizational Performance and Development team who develop, conceptualize and support in establishing and implementing the HR structure by which our Area HR operates within Development and Global Reward. Our outreach is global and we work in close collaboration with our local HR managers and teams to enable people performance for our leaders across the company. 

 

The position

As the Global Reward Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategy, design, implementation, and management of all Reward programs across the organization. This includes Short-Term Incentive scheme (STI), Long-Term Incentive scheme (LTI) and leading the Global Salary Review process. In addition, you will be the go-to trusted advisor within Reward for our senior leaders and Area HR and work on strategic projects such as our Field Staff bonus structure, Mobility, and more. You will work closely with senior leadership, HR, and business partners to ensure that our Reward programs align with business goals, enhance employee engagement, and attract and retain top talent. In addition, you will support on ad hoc issues related to Global Reward. 


Key responsibilities 

  • Reward Strategy & Design: Lead the design and implementation of global compensation and reward strategies that are competitive, aligned with business objectives, and compliant with local regulations.
  • Incentive programs: Manage and execute on our incentive programs, including eligibility, performance metrics, and payout structures.
  • Ad hoc support: Provide ad hoc support to our leaders and HR colleauges on all Reward matters.
  • Executive compensation: Support VP HR in executive compensation, including Compensation Committee materials and decision making.
  • Field Staff Bonus Structure: Engage in cross-functional projects to continuously monitor and update the field staff bonus structure to ensure alignment with performance metrics and operational goals in a challenging industry environment.
  • Global Salary Review: Lead the annual Global Salary Review process, ensuring equity, performance alignment, and internal consistency in compensation practices.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Utilize data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of reward programs and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure that all reward programs are compliant with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies across Areas.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner with Area HR, Finance, and senior leaders to communicate reward strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Market Benchmarking: Continuously monitor market trends and compensation best practices within the oil and gas sector to ensure competitive and industry-leading reward offerings.

You will report to Head of Organizational Performance and Development and also work in close collaboration with our VP HR.

 

The candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a solid Reward background with the following skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field (advanced degree or certification in compensation/benefits is a plus).
  • Experience in reward management or compensation and benefits, preferably in a global role.
  • Experience in managing STI, LTI programs or other bonus programs.
  • Experience in managing complex, global compensation processes like salary reviews and benchmarking.
  • Strong knowledge of global compensation trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Team player with ability to delegate.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior leaders in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with compensation management software is a plus.
