The department

To support our mission to provide effective and quantifiable energy solutions in a safe and sustainable manner, Welltec is strengthening the QHSE organization and actively recruiting for a QHSE Coordinator with a global role.

The position will be based in our office in Allerød, Denmark. The work environment is informal but at times hectic as we are at the core of the company, deadlines can be tight, and focus can change quickly.

 

The position 

Are you our new process optimization and Management System nerd?
The Global QHSE Coordinator will be the backbone for the QHSE processes.

The role is a back-office position responsible for optimizing the processes governed by the management system. The role will be the project manager for re-organizing the global management system and the document structure, and for developing and implementing an effective software tool.

In the daily work, the coordinator will own the way the system is governed and applied by the organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Project manager for the development and improvement of our integrated management system IT platform governing the QHSE processes
  • Process owner for the maintenance and governance of the management system, i.e. define business process owner responsibility and own the review and approval process and the document control of the management system procedures
  • Drive and support process mapping and optimization for the content of management system
  • System owner for case handling system. (’Synergi Life’/QHSE incidents)

For the right candidate there will opportunities to develop the competencies to be able to support other QHSE activities (depending on skills and interests):

  • Support the function during audits & investigations (opportunity to travel)
  • Support the close out of findings from the certification processes, covering ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, API Spec Q1 & Q2 and other applicative normative reference
  • Monitor and maintain the Legal and Other Requirements Register (HSE section)
  • Review and enhance integrated risk management processes
  • Develop, promote & monitor QHSE training & Safety leadership programs
  • Facilitate QHSE meetings/forums and the Occupation Health and Safety Committee for Danish sites
  • Enable the implementation of annual QHSE campaigns, through multi-layered communication channels


The candidate

The preferred candidate has the following profile: 

  • Formal Six Sigma / lean training
  • Experience with process mapping workshops and brown paper exercises
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Project management competencies
  • Experience in re-organizing a management system or optimizing processes part of a documented management system
  • Interested in QHSE
