The department

Welltec is strengthening the Operations team in Esbjerg, Denmark, and actively recruiting for Field Engineer Trainee/Field Engineer positions. We have several openings and we are looking for both experienced and trainee levels.

The position 

You will join a team of approximately 8 field engineers and you will be reporting to the Senior Service Delivery Manager.
As a Field Engineer at Welltec, you will receive exceptional training that will guarantee a successful career in diverse roles and responsibilities in the energy industry. 

Key responsibilities 

•    Prepare and execute complex onshore and offshore operations across the European Continent. 
•    Perform job load-out and rig up/down at wellsite, both land and offshore environments.
•    Follow detailed processes and procedures to maintain an industry leading level of service quality.
•    Uphold a high level of customer service at all times.
•    Undertake technical, safety, and shop/office responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager and Serive Delivery Manager
•    Maintain equipment and facilities in an orderly and workable condition.

The candidate

The ideal candidate has the following profile:
•    Experience from E-line operations and/or logging tools is plus
•    Leads by example in promoting and maintaining a safe workplace and holding others in the field accountable to this high standard
•    Detailed problem solver with a keen interest in all types of engineering and technology
•    Working, understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic engineering principals and be able to grasp new ideas quickly
•    Must be teachable, coachable, willing to push boundaries and challenge conventional thinking
•    Be an ambassador for Welltec and Welltec technology when performing jobs on site – This includes building good relationships and promoting Welltec services
•    Be a highly motivated individual who approach challenges with a positive ‘can-do-attitude’ and is willing to work under pressure and in varying remote conditions. 
•    Be IT confident and proficient within the Microsoft Office suite and be capable of learning bespoke software quickly. 
•    Be able to complete the standard requirements to travel offshore and abroad, e.g. offshore medical and survival.
•    EU passport is a must due to specific local requirements
