Service Range
Welltec provides a variety of services to integrated, independent and national oil and gas companies during the different phases of a well’s life. We work with our clients around the world to identify and deliver services that optimize oil recovery while promoting human and environmental safety. Our high-technology services help customers solve challenges across the breadth of well types including those at the forefront of the industry’s technological, geographic and economic frontier. We also apply our services in the most extreme operating conditions (such as deepwater, subsea, extended reach, Arctic, high-yield, heavy oil and unconventional gas environments).
We provide many high-value, high-impact services around the world in deviated, horizontal and vertical wells. As examples, in newly-drilled wells, we help international, independent and national oil companies decide if a well’s potential is sufficient to justify the additional cost of completing it. We assist our clients in optimizing their wells, infrastructure and reservoirs by helping them develop more informative knowledge of rock formations, fluids and other technical characteristics. As clients increasingly utilize production stimulation procedures such as fracturing, they turn to Welltec for assistance in optimizing these techniques. We increase production in many ways, among others: by detecting and rectifying obstructions, managing flow control and preventing water entry.
Our extensive track record includes ensuring that large deepwater and subsea wells begin producing on time, increasing oil recovery in maturing reservoirs and optimizing production in critical wells around the world. We are the provider of choice in sensitive eco-regions such as the Kuparuk field. Kuparuk is located in the Alaskan tundra, which is a rich natural reserve where many species mate. Our rig-less solutions replace the need to carry heavy equipment in to the tundra.
