Well Tractor^® Proves Versatile in Seismic Application

The world's first Vertical Seismic Profile tool combination with the Well Tractor was deployed during October 2000. The total time from start of rig up to rig down was 20 hours, which was 4 hours less than planned and 30 hours less than pipe conveyed logging techniques. Total time in well was 17 hours and 15 minutes.

The Well Tractor was configured with 4 drive sections, hepta and conversion kit. Total length of tool string length was 90 ft weighing 1,500 lbs.
