Historically, gas lift valve retrieval or deployment, setting and retrieving mechanical plugs, manipulating sliding door devices and opening zonal isolation valves have been in the domain of slick line and coiled tubing. Our step-change technology allows any slick line operation to be performed on wireline using the Well Stroker in conjunction with the Well Tractor.
We designed the Well Stroker to apply focused force down hole using a bi-directional hydraulic ram. Usually, the Well Stroker is run in conjunction with the Well Tractor to position the Well Stroker and shifting tool at the desired location, for example, of a zonal isolation valve or packer. We apply the Well Stroker in situations that require an axially-focused directional force.
Currently, the Well Stroker is available in three sizes: 3 1/8”, 3 3/8” and 2 1/8" outside diameter.
