The Well Key is a command controlled shifting tool for down hole valves that provides the flexibility to run an intelligent shifting tool. The Well Key complements intelligent completions that do not require intervention. Anything that slick line can achieve in vertical wells is now possible on electric wireline in horizontal wells.
The Well Key provides operators the maximum completion design flexibility they need to optimize their production and intervention strategy. The flexible search mode makes the Well Key adaptable for most designs on the market and increasingly custom-designed flow control devices that match temperature, pressure, acidity, etc. conditions in a given well. To ensure high service effectiveness and efficiency it is also designed for rapid, cost-effective customization and reconfiguration against customer specifications.
