Adaptability to Different Well Profiles
Well Cleaner operations are typically run in conjunction with the Well Tractor, which applies centralization and forward motion, while holding reactive torque away from the electric wireline.
The Well Cleaner can be configured to fit specific well conditions. In liquid environments, the Well Cleaner uses flow as the main driver to propel sand bailing. The Well Tractor can convey the Well Cleaner if the intervention point is situated deep in the wellbore. In more vertical well sections, we can use it on a stand-alone basis. In dry environments where it is not possible to use fluid to suspend and drag material into the trap chambers, an inner helix drags sand into the Well Cleaner’s chambers.
We use the Well Cleaner to collect specified amounts of sand in dry gas wells or dislodge scale from inside the wellbore. Chamber capacity is as high as 1,690 fl oz depending on the configuration and the Well Cleaner can pick up debris ranging from 0.004” to 2.36” grain size. |
