Welltec Passes 10,000 Runs in the Hole
Since the world’s first Well Tractor was run in 1996, Welltec has performed successful operations in 28 countries and in every type of down hole environment. In January, 2009, we have now surpassed 10,000 runs in the hole and over 6,000 separate jobs.
Welltec is the owner of several other world records, including deepest offshore well tractor run (30,888 ft), highest temperature tractor intervention (388º F), highest deviated open hole intervention (112°) and cased hole intervention (130°) as well as having driven the longest distance in one continuous run (20,500 ft).
