The Welltec® Puncher provides an efficient, e-line conveyed, non-explosive method for establishing a controlled specific pathway between tubular strings. Its innovative design quickly creates a predetermined diameter hole in the tubular at the target depth for pressure equalization without the use of explosives. Utilizing a fast, drilling technique the Welltec® Puncher produces a precise, uniform, hole. Multiple holes can be drilled in a single descent and it can be deployed independently or combined with the Well Tractor® for punching in highly deviated or horizontal wells. Since the Welltec® Puncher is thru-wired further time savings can be achieved by combining with other Welltec® services.

WELL MILLER ® EXPANDABLE BIT
WELL TRACTOR® 212
The Flex-Well® completion concept provides tangible benefits to operating companies by considering the reservoir, the drilling and completion process, the field infrastructure and even P&A through its advantages
The Well Cutter® is a tool that enables efficient, safe drill pipe, liner, tubing and casing recovery operations without the need for explosives. Utilizing a fast, cutting technique rather than a blade, the Well Cutter® produces a smooth, polished surface. This precludes the need for a polishing trip to dress the cut, resulting in significant rig time savings. It can be run slick, on e-line or equipped with a ‘no-go’ for a precise cut at depth.
The Well Miller® expandable bit for hardware milling provides operators with a better way to repair wells with mechanical problems. It can pass through small ID and expand to a larger OD when activated. The bit will retract if communication is lost to the tool.
The Well Tractor® was regarded as a revolution in the industry when it was introduced to the market in the 1990s. This is because it enables operators to extend the reach of traditional e-line, which is considered one of the most cost-effective and successful applications in the field of well interventions.
ATCE is SPE’s annual meeting of members and features groundbreaking papers and special technical events designed to accelerate the application of innovations in every technical discipline. Attendees come from around the world to ATCE to keep up with the latest technologies, industry best practices, and new product launches.
Welltec will be participating with a stand, no 1569, and our experts will be in place and looking forward to meeting clients and present our new technology.
